Legend of the Falloffs

As a youth growing up listening to hip-hop Mobb Deep was one of my favorite groups. They are one of the only groups to have 3 classics in a row (Tribe, Gangstarr, De la Soul). Out of the two Prodigy was the beast on the mic. Prodigy got better and better from album to album, reaching his peak at Murda Muzik and the Mobb also reached their commercial peak. On his solo album P held it down but not with the same lyrical prowess as before. On the Free Agents mixtape he did his thing sorta and on Amerikaz Nightmare (which i thought was hott) Havoc definitely out shined him. As Mobb Deep reached an all time low and signed to G-Unit so did P. Circa 95 P was in the top three arguably right behind B.I.G. and Nas now hes lucky to make it in the top 100. He went from spiting classic verses on songs like quiet storm and Apostles Warning to spitting horrible verses on such hot tracks Win or lose and Pearly Gates (controversial but still wack best mobb g-unit song). Now with the release of his Return of the Mac P returned from the garbage truck but is still in the garbage can. I wonder is it because of his sickness (sickle cell), is he a crackhead (caught with crack in car), or he just fell off like Meth. Still I reminise of the Mobb glory days. Hearing The Infamous as a youngin and how Illuminati ruled his mind soul and his body.
